I am so excited to announce that I have completed training under my mentor, celebrity photographer and international newborn trainer, Ana Brandt! I am now a part of her Book a Baby Shoot program, serving Oregon and Washington. Ana is among the top 5 Newborn Photographers in the world. It is such an honor to be a part of this exciting journey with her and her team!
The Boutique Experience
Christi Thayer Photography is a boutique style studio. What does that mean for my clients? First and foremost, I pour my heart into all the details! My clients are what I love most about my work. I always go the extra mile to serve and to go above and beyond. From the moment our conversation and planning begin, no detail is left untouched.
Your experience starts with our planning session, which can be scheduled in our studio or remotely. The studio offers an extensive collection of beautiful props, clothing and all the extra details, a collection that continues to grow over the past 25 years of owning and operating a studio.
On the day of your session, everything will be lovingly prepared. We will take our time and will go through all of the sets and wardrobe changes from our planning session.
Within two weeks of your session, we will schedule your in person studio proofing session, or you can opt for two weeks of online proofing. During your in studio proofing session, you will be able to see your images on a large screen and I will walk you through the ordering process with all of its many options. This eliminates the stress of having to decide on your own from home.
Once your order has been finalized, the editing process begins. This is a lengthy process where I look closely at every detail as I create your families art work to display in your home. And with the boutique experience, there is no need to ask for digital images any longer. Any prints ordered are included in a digital format for safe keeping.
In order for me to provide the quickest possible turnaround times, impeccable attention to detail and top tier customer service, I only take a limited number of portrait sessions per month. With this in mind, it is best to book as far in advance as possible. For expecting moms, we will choose an attentive date based on your estimated delivery date. As soon as baby arrives, we will confirm your session time.
Professional photography is an investment and I am honored to serve as your photographer, walking you through every step of the process from the initial inquiry to delivering your final art pieces and digital art media.
We are also now excepting AfterPay for four easy payments. This option is available through Square payments. If you are interested in one of our annual packages or plans and would like to pay over time, please contact Christi for further options.

With a background in interior design & in owning two art galleries, alongside her portrait studios, Christi's artistic perspective shines through in her carefully crafted, in-camera creations which utilize very little editing, allowing only for the enhancement of light, color, and minor adjustments. Christi’s abstract art is SOC (straight out of the camera) never utilizing AI in the development of her fine art. Her one-of-a-kind pieces are designed to bring beauty, joy, and peace into your home, office, and business.
With a life long commitment to her love for photography and art, Christi has spent the last several years developing and perfecting her own new style of abstract fine art.
